We are not a high volume studio. If you want to be one of thousands that are photographed by a particular photographer, we are not the right studio for you. We want to spend some time with you. We plan on talking with you about clothes, makeup and hair. Then together using both Cindy’s knowledge of portraiture and your favorite clothing we can select outfits that truly enhance your best features. It’s all a matter of highlights and shadows, what do you want to emphasize and what do you want to diminish? Let’s figure it out together.

AVOID SESSION FEES!
That’s right, we give you the option of not paying a session fee. We give you the option of contracting with us to make a minimum purchase and waive the session fee, or if you don’t want to do that you are welcome to go the traditional route a pay a session fee. These contract agreements start at $300 for a one and a half hour session at our Studio and Portrait Park and go up to $800 for three two hour sessions, one spring, one in the fall and one at a location of your choice. Some places we went to last year are Firebird Raceway, the Boise River, Lucky Peak, client homes, Swan Falls. Bishop House, the Rose Gardens, and even the Train Depot. All of these monies go towards the purchase of portraits. If you don’t want to pre purchase, then session fees range from $75 for thirty minutes of photography time to $250 for a full four hours. Split sessions are no problem!

We bought this place just because it had so many trees and hedges that would make excellent background areas for portraits. We work on it every year adding to what is already there. Some of the most popular spots are the Italian wall, Castle wall, Funky Town, ’46 Chevy, beach, wine barrel, iron gate, weeping willow tree (we let the branches grow clear to the ground), and the old rusty horse trailer makes for some awesome intensely colored manipulations. That doesn’t even include the old barn, the fences, patio the different flowers…there is just too much to list!

Order as many poses as you like – No Restrictions
You can get what you want and so can your parents with no price penalty. All portraits are retouched; eye bags, facial lines and blemishes are all softened or removed. Then these top quality images are mounted on board and have a water resistant protective layer. Additional file preparation fees are charged for things like glasses glare, and braces removal.

Coffee Table Books
These are truly a work of art. By taking your retouched ‘originals’ and laying them out in page format, printing these pages on fine art paper, and hand binding them with the highest quality cover materials, well, a true keepsake to be treasured for years is born. These books can be personalized with a favorite poem, special memory, or a letter from Mom. It will bring tears to your eyes for years to come. Your favorite 45 images designed in an 8×8 book for you $895.

Preparation Tips
Girls, put your makeup on normally and bring it with you. Sometimes minor changes need to be made in order to photograph your best. Guys, please shave! A ‘bluebeard’ will NOT retouch! Everyone: If you wear glasses, please come prepared to removed the lenses from your frames prior to being photographed, or borrow a pair of frames without lenses from your eye care specialist. And, bring all the clothes with you that you would ever dream of being photographed in.
