Today is the day of the modeling opportunity for Boise in the National Charity Model Search and I am proud to  say that Mya had the most votes Monday morning when the winner of the modeling opportunity  was selected!  Go Mya!  Saundra, Mya's Mom said "I am even asking people I don't know to go vote for Mya!"  Just to refresh your memory, here she is again!

There was a sale on backgrounds from one of the best background companies out there....35% off...and I bought!  By the time I was done I had ordered five new backgrounds that I cannot hardly wait to get my hands on.....I am so excited, they are going to add a ton to the indoor choices I already have. 

I spent too much, don't we all when there is a good sale, and the camera room is rather full, so I decided to clean out and see what I had that I could get rid of.  Really now, does any photographer need the more than 50 choices we have??  By anyone's standards that is  a ton of backgrounds!

So, I began digging out the ones I haven't used in the last year and photographing them preparing to put them up for sale.  And, ya know, I really like some of them!!  WHY wasn't I using them?  Do I really want to get rid of them?  I did find two that I definitely am willing to part with, but tha ...

Barnyard Babies started yesterday!  This is London, too cute!  She LOVED the 'birds'.

Dr. Frances and Joe brought their son Lucas in recently for their first family portrait!  We captured some beautiful images, these are going into Dr. Frances's office as decor. 

And here is Lucas exploring a car for the very first time!  The outfit and car belong to the studio, we are working harder than ever at supplying everything you need!

We spent three hours yesterday creating this new composite template!  What an adorable little boy to inspire it!

Jeremy recently was here for a week and we were lucky to be able to spend some time with him and his son's. 

We had a great time!  Went to Po-Jo's they came to Kids Fair, and we all really got to play together.  It was wonderful!

Jeremy flew out of Boise on Sunday, and is already in Iraq for a second deployment.  This one will last a year.  He will serve as an assistant to a Kernel this time, I really don't know if that is good or bad...don't we always weigh the odds when our family members are over there?

Wendy was wonderful!  She has the most beautiful belly and was such a joy to work with.  She is due in mid March, so our timing was perfect!
